Materials
Union Packaging uses the following paperboard packaging materials in our folding cartons:

• Substrates: SBS, CUK, and TMP
• Polycoating (optional) – prevents wicking for use with greasy foods
• Water-based inks – FDA-approved for folding cartons that are printed on the inside too.

Quality
Our folding cartons are subjected to the highest testing standards. We perform these quality checks on our folding cartons:

• Friction Test
• Weight Test / Pressure Test – tests the folding carton’s strength and durability
• Fiber Tear Test
